It was cheap and the people at the desk were polite

Cigarette burns in my bed. A very cold corridor and bedroom (though there was a heater we could turn on). Ugly decorations. Odd smell. Stains on some of the towels. Also, restaurant attached looked so dingy I would not have eaten there if it was free.
